Pinhole Pupilloplasty - Latest Revolutionary Technique To Treat Keratoconus and Other Corneal Diseases !!!

Congratulations!!! A new technology has arrived to help patients to see without glasses or contact lenses.
The name of this revolutionary technique is "Pinhole Pupilloplasty (PPP)". This technology has helped 10 people having distorted vision, to see clearly without any need of glasses.

Pinhole Pupilloplasty, Keratoconus treatment, cornea diseases

This technology was developed by Dr. Amar Agarwal, chairman and managing director at Dr. Agarwal's Eye Hospital.
In pinhole pupilloplasty technique, size of the Pupil is reduced to less than 1.5 mm.
As we know that Blurred vision is caused in astigmatism as multiple light rays fall on the retina.
So in this technology the size of the pupil's diaphragm is reduced by suturing the edges. It prevents the light rays that enter from the periphery It leads to clear vision without glasses or contact lenses, since multiple light rays that cause blurred vision on the retina are blocked. This is the basic principle of pinhole pupilloplasty.
Doctor Amar Agarwal, the surgeon, has published his work and introduced this technology at the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons Meeting.
Advantages of
Pinhole Pupilloplasty surgery are-
1.Easy to perform
2.Cost effective
3.Can correct high astigmatism
4.Can be performed on children also
5.No need of glasses or contact lenses after surgery in most cases
